SO WHAT IS HYPNOTHERAPY AND HOW CAN IT HELP?

 Hypnosis is a pleasant and completely natural state that most of us experience multiple times every day. It can be described as being in a state of relaxed and focused awareness, and is a similar state to that which we regularly experience when we are happily daydreaming, when completely absorbed in listening to music, engrossed in a movie or book, or simply captivated in watching the waves breaking on the beach.

Hypnotherapy is a skilled verbal communication, used during a state of hypnosis, and is a safe, highly effective and powerful technique that may be utilised to create profound changes at a subconscious level. This may be in the form of new responses, patterns, thoughts, attitudes, behaviours or feelings. The state of hypnosis is accomplished using relaxation, guided visualisation, concentration and focused attention to attain a heightened state of awareness; clients often remark that they are surprised at how totally relaxed and comfortable they can feel, whilst still being able to hear everything that is said to them, remain fully aware and in control.  This state is a perfect space in which to facilitate changes or re-program unwanted or limiting patterns of behaviour within the subconscious mind.
